Levent – Bosphorus University

Bakırköy – Beylikdüzü (Project on Planning Stage)

It is one of the underground railway lines that are located in European side and in plan phase. After 2014 amendment to İBB transportation master plan, the M7 line was changed as M8 and M7 number was assigned to Mahmutbey-Mecidiyeköy metro route that is currently under construction. This metro line will be constructed as a light metro system. Its total length is 25 kilometers and consists of 18 stations. The end of the line in the west is TÜYAP, while the one in the east is İncirli.
The total construction cost of the route is 1 Billion ₺. The groundbreaking was planned to occur on 2013, yet lack of establishment of transportations plans by İBB and not receiving the adequate amount of funding on this line, the start of the construction was metro(subway) map airport
