Yenikapı – Hacıosman

Kirazlı – Başakşehir

The metro route that carries average 100,000 passengers daily has 11 stations. The route that starts from Kiraz separates into two routes in İkitelli Sanayi station and the main line continues to Metrokent direction and the other line detours to Olimpiyat direction. Kadıköy – Kartal / Kaynarca

Its first station is Kadıköy and the last one is Kartal in the completely underground complex with 16 stations. The route was put into service in August 17th 2012.
Kadıköy-Kartal Metro is the longest in Istanbul with 21,7 kilometers length. Additionally, the construction of 3 junction stations Yakacık, Pendik and Kaynarca are expected to finish in mid-2016. It is planned that two lines will be divided after this extension. Levent – Bosphorus University

Kabataş – Mahmutbey (Under Construction)

“istanbul metro system” It is one of the underground railway lines that are located in European side and under construction. The groundbreaking was on February 9th 2014. The route which was initially planned between Kabataş-Mahmutbey will be built in two separate lines. The Mecidiyeköy-Mahmutbey part was contracted out on October 8th 2013.

Bakırköy – Beylikdüzü (Project on Planning Stage)

It is one of the underground railway lines that are located in European side and in plan phase. After 2014 amendment to İBB transportation master plan, the M7 line was changed as M8 and M7 number was assigned to Mahmutbey-Mecidiyeköy metro route that is currently under construction. This metro line will be constructed as a light metro system. Its total length is 25 kilometers and consists of 18 stations. The end of the line in the west is TÜYAP, while the one in the east is İncirli.
The total construction cost of the route is 1 Billion ₺. The groundbreaking was planned to occur on 2013, yet lack of establishment of transportations plans by İBB and not receiving the adequate amount of funding on this line, the start of the construction was delayed.istanbul metro(subway) map airport
